Ray, if you use a belt holster (IWB or OWB) your gun is going to be seen when you take your jacket off. No way to get around that in your situation, unless you wear a long vest that covers your belt. I don't see how you're going to get by with anything other than your ankle holster that you're now using. I carry my Shield every day (OWB) and it works great for me, BUT....I always wear my shirts outside so that the holster is covered. Or a sweatshirt. Again, in your case your suit jacket will hide your OWB or IWB holster until your remove your jacket. Try to stick with your ankle holster IMO. Or maybe consider the S&W M&P Body Guard.

With a suit, I would strongly recommend a King Tuck, a belt and suspenders combo, and a nice tall relaxed fit vest.

Went that route for 5 years. Worked very well.

Hmmm. Nice recommendation Marc.

That King Tuk might work for you, Ray. Watch this video. At 5:11 you are shown how to tuck in your shirt, which is why it's called the King TUK.

After watching that video, I might just buy one myself. I like being able to better conceal my Shield. The Tuk looks pretty comfortable, too.

Reason being is, during a lot of my day, I take my jacket off because it's more comfortable and I don't want to be flashing the thing, especially when I'm making funeral arrangements with families and what not.

Just play it off and ask "who's next?".

I have one, and love it. That is what I carry during the winter.

Thanks for your feedback Nick. I love my OWB holster for comfort, but I don't like that it is visible if I lift my shirt to get at my wallet (side pocket). The King Tuk looks to be just as comfortable but my Shield would be completed hidden, even with my shirt tucked.

Ray, just an FYI if you decide to go with the King Tuk. It sells for $63.26 (Prime) on Amazon. Regular retail is $79.95.

Picked up a little (and I mean little) NAA 22 LR with the 1 5/8" barrel and collapsible grip. I needed something ultra-light that would clip onto my running belt. This weighs less than my current cell phone!
Shooting it was fun, but it needs some tweaking. There is slop in the grip, which means when I pull the trigger it tilts forward, and when it recoils it tilts back. Still able to keep 6" groups at 15'. Should be much better after I fix the slop and get more range time.

These plastic parts in the grip are junk. Lots of slop. I'm going to give the pistol to my machinist buddy and see if he can make some new inserts.

Does anyone carry on the daily who has to wear a suit? I am a funeral director and wear a suit everyday. I have a Sig P938 that I carry on my ankle, and it actually works very well. Only issue is, only a few of my suits fit with it. Most of my suits are nicely tailored and the legs fit good so the gun sticks through my pants so bad allowing me to not carry the gun.

Any suggestions? I also have a Glock19 Gen4 that I just got, and I would like to start carrying that as well. But I figured since the Sig is smaller, I would carry the Sig at work and the G19 when I'm not working.

I also need to look into holsters for the G19.
You might consider a canted small of back holster IWB.

Call Dara Holsters and they will make it anyway you want it.

They are currently building my competition rig.

I think we are finally seeing a break in pricing on 300 blackout. I just picked up 510 rounds today. I got 260 hyper-sonic rounds for 25 cents each and 250 rounds of subsonic for 62 cents a round. I can't even buy .223 for less than 43 cents around here.

Anyone else seeing prices like these?

No offense to those who have one but you are not missing out on anything. It is a straight up last resort gun. You would not want to even have to use it from more than 3 yards. I have fired them with magnums and you would be surprised at how loud and the amount of recoil. Hopefully the sound would scare off the bad guys as you are just about leaving it up to luck if you hit anything with it. Once again, no offense to those who have one. It is def a neat little gun to have, but wouldn't want to rely on it in a jam.
I like some of the offerings from NAA, but I've never had the opportunity to shoot one.

I'm not even sure it's a last resort. If I had to pull that thing out I'm done.

How comfortable is that holster? I have a Tulster, which is similar. I only used it a couple of times because it wasn't very comfortable. My DeSantis OWB holster is super comfortable, but now that warmer weather is here I'm looking at IWB options, starting with the KingTuk. The OWB holsters print too much is you aren't wearing a very loose fitting shirt. I know your body type is a factor. I'm not slender so many of the IWB holster result in the handle digging in. I'm going to diet and then see after losing 10-15 lbs. if an IWB holster suddenly is more comfortable. LOL.

For a kydex holster it's very comfortable. For me it works best at 4:30-5:00 on my waist.

I originally bought one for my lcp 2. Ended up sending the lcp one back on Monday and had the holster for the shield by Thursday.

Juice is worth the squeeze. Yeah it seems like a PITA, but several months and 200 bucks for a gun you will own the rest of your life. Ain't half bad of a deal.

my 300blk, simple build. Still a work in progress. will eventually suppress it.

Nice.

Local shop has lowers for $43. I may buy one and start building a sbr.
