I've wanted to install a safe of some type in my Edge because when I have to go into a bank or the post office, etc., I can't carry. And I'm responsible to ensure my weapon is safely stored and separate from any ammo. So, I found an awesome easy-to-install (10 minutes) console safe. Should have it next week. I feel really good about getting this! A side benefit is that I can store valuables in there when we're on vacation, etc.

Where did you get this?

I believe that is a Console Vault. Had one in my '08 Super duty and they are great. Consolevault.com

I have a gen 3 slide fire stock. I love the way it works as far as wasting ammo goes, but it's not controllable enough or light enough for anything BUT wasting ammo. I'm going to ditch it some time soon, but first I need to test it's replacement. I just bought and installed a gen 3 Franklin Armory Binary Trigger. I'm hoping to get to the range and try it out in the next couple weeks.

Does anyone have an AR setup with one? My dry-fire testing shows that it needs a lot of grease, but works. I am wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of with this thing?

The guys in my gun club think it's a gimmic, like the slide fire, and I can't find anything online that does smell of paid advertising... Knowing how some of you folks are, I figured I get a straight answer if anyone actually owns one.

Thanks...Spaz

Sell your GT350 and get an RDIAS. Problem solved. Just kidding. But in all honesty I don't like auto or 3-round burst on an AR. Now a 240B...first thing I'm buying when I hit the lotto.

Here's my latest addition. Just found it last week, can't wait to shoot it! I think I want to get an HK VP9SK next.

Yes, that is what I bought. It took just over 5 minutes to install. Just two self-threading lag screws. The fit was so perfect it looks factory. Thick steel.

Was finally able to take my new SR-762 out last weekend. This was also my first time shooting with the Pig Saddle. If you ever have the chance to get one of these, its well worth it.

Range day went well. Also brought the Marlin (lever gun), AR15 and SR762. The guy in the lane to my left had a 300 Win Mag - beast!

Man, I bought a gen 2 right before they released the gen 3. I really want to make the change. The gen 2 would hang up a lot when new but after a few hundred rounds it seems to work a lot better. I posted a video and Ill attach it again. Got it installed in a BCM middy.
