My friend is considering buying a Bersa Thunder 380Plus from another friend of ours, brand new for $300. I like the alloy frame since i'm so used to polymer and the 15 rd capacity from a double stack is pretty cool for this type of gun. Anybody have feedback on one of these?

See how many mags come with it because I think they are sold new with just one, and they are $40 each to buy more.

I was curious about the difference from the shooter's perspective, Bruno, with the two lengths. Nice that the lengths are interchangeable (5.5 and 7). I noticed that there's a Performance Center version available for a couple of hundred dollars more. I like my S&W Shield Performance Center pistol.

Mine is the performance center model 41. I wasn’t even aware they made a non performance one until I just looked it up.
It’s a great gun.

A little of both lol.

Ha okay then. The wrapped mags and about 20 of the others I think I paid $5 or $6 for each brand new during the last Black Friday sale. The rest are either used colt mags or pmags which will destroy your wallet.

As far as where to get good deals, start looking at Midwayusa, Palmettostatearmory, Primaryarms etc for Black Friday deals on mags. If I find any I'll gladly post them here.

I got about 100-150 mags now. But I have been looking for GI mags(steel) and dump all my pmags and other plastic mags. And when I saw your post I was hoping you found those online for a smoking deal in the past few weeks.

What's your reasoning for retiring the plastic mags?

Like I said, check out those places I listed on Black Friday if not today.

$5 or so bucks a mag is a pretty good deal.

If you're not on ar15forum I suggest you join it. We're frequently posting deals on all sorts of parts and you can looks in the classified section (ee) for used mags.
