Love 9mm carbines. Those Colt SMG mags are a bizznitch to load though. Sold my PSA for JP with glock mags because of this.

I haven’t had a problem loading them, I sold my Glock mag 9mm and bought a CZ scorpion instead. Don’t regret it one bit although it was a fun rifle to shoot

This thing is so much fun to shoot it’s unexplainable. The MRO isn’t even needed, it’s fun running it with irons, and 9mm is a lot cheaper then .308 or 30.06

What is "LASD-DSP?"

It's from a run of Specialist models originally commissioned for the Los Angles Sheriff's Department - only modifications being right side safety only, "duty black" finish (which is VERY nice BTW, pics don't do it justice), and the slide script of course (instead of "Specialist").

Something new for the glovebox. Did up to match interior of gt500 w/ Ed Brown's gen III coat over sniper grey w/ grey carbon grips.

Wow these two are some serious 1911 eye candy, just bad ass!. Both also built to be shooters too. A lot of guys seem to buy really nice 1911's and they are safe queens. Sad because the guns are built to shoot, and shoot accurately.

Question to the Glock guys, do people just buy Glocks so that they can change the barrel, slide, sights, trigger, magazines, etc after they buy it to accessorize like a woman? Was at the range, and three different guys had what were Glocks at one time, but now looks like some kind of art project. I am seeing more and more on IG also. It seems as though there is nothing left original on the Glock itself, so what is the point?

I carry a G43 that is bone stock except the sights (Glock sights are just placeholders anyway until you buy real sights), and I happened to add a Vickers extended slide release which looks almost stock but works more better.

Just like the Ford Mustang, Glock has the biggest aftermarket out there. I like to modify my cars and guns. Is your mustang stock or did you accessorize it like a women?

Absolutely, I changed everything on them except the small minor things so that only a sharp eye or Ford fan boy will really know it is a Mustang.

I shoot with 30-100 shooters every weekend in IDPA matches. I see LOTS of Glocks. The most I typically see changed are the sights. Sometimes a better connector and spring to improve a trigger that came a little heavy from the factory.

I need some sights for mine still there is a deal locally on tru-glo I believe. I did buy a backplate for my G43 though. Doubt I’ll change anything else besides the sights. My G19 will stay stock except sights I believe.

I understand the trigger, spring, and sights. These guys had camo slides paired with a gold threaded barrel, gold slide with a silver threaded barrel, and urban camo with copper threaded barrel. The only thing stock was the polymer frame itself, which was stippled.

Are guys that completely modify everything on their Glocks able to sell, or recoup some of the loss? It seems as though they are buying a completely new pistol with all of the aftermarket they are investing into with the changes.

All my guns get used :) , the two I've pictured above are for IPSC/IDPA competition in particular. So they'll get shot... a lot lol.

Same. See mostly Glocks at IDPA competitions, and sights/triggers maybe are the most I've seen changed, but then shooters have the rules to contend with as to what they can or cannot modify.

Glad to hear LASD carries the real. IIRC LAPD SWAT carries kimbers. This would give me confidence if I was in the hostage taking business in LA as there is a 100% chance SWAT sidearm will malfunction.
