Maybe it was his that was spotted a few weeks ago on 128 in Waltham just a few days before I was down there with mine.

The 00R is at DWW in Ayer. Are you Dave’s friend who owns one? Just curious as he’s mentioned it. The GT 40 is an ERA Mk 1 that is just finishing a two year rebuild at ERA. Stroked 302 to 347, Weber’s by Jim Inglese, new comp. front brakes, new cooling system, oil coolers, carpets, rear view camera, new AC unit w/ heat, ceramic coated bundle of snakes, etc. Theyre road testing it now, should be done next week. Bought it from Eric Hall from Bristol, but it needed major sorting out. Selling the Contemporary 427 to make room.

Does anyone know if the last 4 digits of the serial number on the hood are supposed to match the last 4 of the VIN?
I think thats pretty unlikely
