Issues with extended lugs, lfp 3/8” spacer and 18” AFS wheels

Having some issues mounting my wheels. Bought 3/8” LFP Hubcenteic spacer kit with the extended lugs to mount my 18” reps and am having issues with the lug not seating properly when tightening.

The wheel is centered on the studs but the extended piece of the lug rubs the inner area of the barrel when tightening.Its causing the the lug to score and leave shavings on the inner barrel of the rim where the lug would normally be seated. See the pictured area below. Anyone have these issues?

Why aren’t you running open end lug nuts with extended studs?

Exactly what Troy said. You can't run OEM lugnuts with extended studs.

I figured it out. On the extended lug nuts there is no seat like on the oem lugs that automatically center the wheel.

I just had center the wheel manually on the studs

That is wrong too. You should have bought conical seat lugnuts.

I used what came in the LFP kit Joe, they are conical

People have had problems with LFP spacers and AFS wheels before. There are some links to other threads in there too. I’d do some reading and make sure that everything is aligned and flush before driving on those spacers.
