Do I need to retune or is it plug and play ??

I would have the car retuned. It will give you much better results.

What did you have before? Yes it is best to have it retuned/tuned after installing it but no it is not a must for our year cars. I know many that have added it in place of the stock one without a tune and was fine, but for best results I would especially if you are heavily modded.
