Dunno if @12V Guy is around or if others that have done this before can help... the threads on this don't exactly give a clear answer... all the examples I have seen are for cars with SYNC.
Anyone know if this kit / Maestro RR / ADS surround will work on a Base w/o SYNC?
If yes - then the next question is - anyone know if I take a 2012 Premium steering wheel with all the sync buttons... stick it on a 2012 Base... and then hook up the Kenwood/Maestro to the wiring harness in the dash... will the volume buttons now work on the new steering wheel with the aftermarket radio?
Obviously I won't have SYNC - but that's not the point - what I'm wondering is - between the base and the prem - is the full harness the same to carry the signals? I'd guess yes - but I'm not sure
but don't even know if this will work in a Base...
