The latest issue of Motortrend came in the mail 2 days ago, it is the annual new car buyers guide issue. They have a run down of the basic info (price/drivetrain layout/engines, etc) of each new car. The Mustang entry seems to have some numbers that I haven't yet heard confirmed. The star next to it does mean estimated though.

So the 2017 GT350R weighs about 3700 lbs, add in 150-200 lbs for the supercharger and accessories and upgraded driveline components. Would a 3850-3900 lb, 680/630 hp/tq GT500 be enough for you guys?

As long as its a cross plane crank and not a flat plane it looks good. Though, Im sure theres an extra 28 horses they could have found in the engine tuning.

Still, they need to launch the car sooner rather than later. They've been away from that halo Mustang for far too long.

Agreed with all that however we all know Ford tends to underrate their supercharged motors and even at 3900 lbs, it'll be a good 4-500 lbs less than the standard Hellcat Challenger.

I'm expecting a series of "teaser" videos prior to an official announcement, hopefully those start sooner rather than later.
