My 95R axle code is Z but what ratio?IIsE

I have a 95R. My axle code is Z as appears on other 95Rs I’ve seen. Z is 3.08. Specs say 3.27 rear end. So which one is in there and why the discrepancy? Thank you for your help.

Yes. They door jam sticker on every 95 R I’ve seen reads Z for 3.08.

Interesting. 3.27 is the correct ratio and what all 250 came with. I guess they didn't change the ratio code due to limited numbers and just went with the 3.08 code which is what the street cars came with. 3.27 was optional in the automatic trans GTs. This is one story I don't know the details behind.

Thank you. Do you know where I could find a warning/belt routing decal? Mine has a buckle in the middle of it which you see on a lot of them from this era. I show the car and would like to replace the decal with an accurate R decal. The only ones I see online for 95 have the belt routing for an AC equipped car.
