Back in the day, a '69 Z/28 wasn't that much more expensive than a '69 SS. Both were affordable. Seems that that has gone out the window today when you compare the price of a 2014 SS to a 2014 Z/28. Nice job, GM! :nonono:

7.0L ls7...and only 500hp? Why not just make it supercharged from factory?

The C6Z06 LS7 only has 505HP. The LS7 is an 11:1 compression motor. It benefits most from heads, cam, intake type mods. I supercharged my C6Z when I had it on the stock bottom end and could only really run about 7psi reliably. GM would never supercharge this motor. The LS3/LS9 is the best platform for supercharging IMO.

The new Z/28 looks great. The only thing that caught my eye in the "Don't Like" department was the big squared off front splitter.
