Is the price a secret?
No but this is the first triple for our cars and I don't know if they have them for regular production yet. My friend had been in contact with them to help pick the right clutch and he will be installing it with us and giving them direct feedback.
They use this same clutch in a 1200hp LS in AUS, so it's a proven design just not in our applications. Lots of Ford Mod motors and Tremecs down under though.
I'll get back to you on pricing and a potential for a group buy, but it's probably 3 mos out with weather here.

While I believe that may be the only other triple disc I’ve seen, I have concerns on the ability to slip the clutch and negative implications on driveability.
That concern is based on the disc design being puck style, not full faced and cerametallic, not organic.
Here is my Spec SS:

This clutch held the power no question and could have acceptable street manners if you were perfect but had no slip when leaving a light or launching at strip.
Compare this to the upgrade ST disc, advertised to hold more and improve drivability, and it’s full face design:

I had a single disc Spec 3 and hated the on/off and called Spec who recommended the 3+ for my turbo Fox. The 3+ was different from the 3 just like the pics above (puck style vs full face) and was much more street/strip friendly.
Just my experience and why after being very specific with XClutch on syreetability, slip and launch, I believe they chose the organic full face triple.
We shall see.
I do believe the Spec ST would be a good fit (why I bought it), but at this point I’m going all new.

So good news direct from XClutch, power rating 1800Nm or 1320ftlbs, a great sign for drag racers.
Cost will be around $2100 AUD, and I'm too lazy to do the currency conversion, but they said under $2000 or about $1700-1900 USD.
XClutch also said there have been several inquiries on this unit based on this posting, so once they have some feedback based on fitment and performance, they will offer production models.
The clutch also arrived this afternoon. My friend was happy with the quality and I will pick it up tomorrow and post some pics.
We are shooting to install over the next 2 weekends!

Looks like a really nice option for streetability and holding power. And, you know, not destroying the shit out of your driveline trying to launch an on/off clutch lmao!

My McLeod probably has a lot of life left in it, but when its time Id definitely give Xclutch a look if your initial impressions are great!

Also, Id be mooorrreeee than happy to test your car for ya out here in Arizona. We roast in the summer but our winters are PERFECT for race cars! :D :D :D

That's a damn good deal for a complete triple disc kit. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.

Shoot....cannot agree more. I don't think mine is going anywhere as well but think I paid $13-1400 for my McCleod RXT .

That is a pretty stout torque rating with the organic discs. That should be a very nice clutch.

The AUD is worth 0.799109 cents when compared to the USD

If they need $2100 AUD that converts to $1678.13 in USD. That is a lot of clutch for the money. Hopefully the installation and testing goes without any problems. I'll keep my eye on this thread to watch for the results in the future.
