With 03cobra#694's Blessing I'm here to start a newer lowering spring thread. I want to drop my Cobra over the winter and I'm undecided I'm leaning towards either H&R Race Springs, Steeda Springs, or Cut Stockers. I do not want super low but can't stand stock height. Could you please post up pics of your set ups and your iso combination. A lot of the pics in the thread linked here are not there anymore.

Thank you all,
Patrick

Although its not a Cobra, I do have an IRS in the rear. It has Vogtland lowering springs without isolators. Unfortunately(in regards to your question), coilovers in front. The Vogtlands I believe are similar to H&R sports and they're a non-linear spring:

Good deal Patrick. That thread that has been up top and been a sticky (and locked) for ever, is over 8 years old. I'll put my cut stock pics up in the AM when I'm on my normal computer.

H&R Sport Springs
Maximum Motorsports ISO's (the Sports were just to low for my taste with stock ISO's)
Stock Wheels/Tires.

The car is lowered 1 inch exactly. Pretty much fits my taste pretty well. I like all stock Cobras and I think this is how it should have looked from the factory.

Sig Pic is this setup.

Damn I like those Sports on the Mystichrome do you bottom out or scrape at all? I like the steeda also but it looks like it still sits to high in the rear with those.

Not at all, but thats why I went with the MM ISO's. It makes a huge difference IMO.

Bump for more pics! I'm thinking about cutting mine. How much do I need to cut to lower it 1"?

Curious on guys running H&R springs, do the sport springs lower more then the race springs? Some of the sites say that the H&R race springs lower the cobra a lot more then the Sport springs. Just confused because going through threads, a lot comment how they like the race springs for better clearance and a harder ride?
