I was about to pull the trigger on a 20x11 Rohana RFX5 Brushed Titanium wheels for the rear and I found out the offset is 48MM. That to me does not seem like it is going to work. After reading other forums here I would assume I would need 55 or 56 MM. 48MM on a 11 inch rim doesnt seem like its quite enough and with 295 tires it might actually stick out. Am I looking at this correctly?

Forgestar actually sells it's wheels in a variety of different offsets depending on the vendor. Also, you can custom order them in whatever offset you want (I had custom 19x10 ET41 CF5s at all 4 corners for a while).

As to the OP's question, yeah 11" ET48 seems like you will get some poke for sure. I have 20x10.5" ET45 with Michelin PSS 295/30/20 and they are just barely barely barely flush so a half inch wider wheel with only 3mm more offset will stick out even further which might be enough to get poke and/or rub depending on your ride height. However, my Michelins are 11.5" wide treadwidth which is really wide for a 295 so another (narrower) 295 tire might be just fine.

I think with an 11" wider wheel I would want something in the 55-60mm offset range to be able to run fat tires. This website is great for comparing things:

Good luck!
