Hello all. I am trying to figure out if I want to run a 275/35/18 on the front of my cobra. Currently have a 265/35/18 up front with a 315/30/18 on the back. Car is lowered 1.5 inches on all four corners. My main concerns are. Will they rub anything at full lock and will they grab every rut or hole in the road? Post your opinions and feedback. Thanks

I have 275/35/18 up front. HR sport springs. No rubbing at all.

A 275/35/18 tire should be no different in size than the factory 275/40/17. The 18 is just a shorter sidewall on a taller wheel. So you should have zero issues. I run a Toyo R888 275/35/18 with no issues.

Depends on how low your car is, and your wheel offset if they will rub, but that is the same with any tire size.

My car is pretty low, the top of my fender liners rub on the tire going over large bumps at speed, but no big deal. I am running 275/35/18's.

275/35/18 fits great with a good (near factory) offset. I'm on an mm front suspension but have also ran a qa1, d&d and stock, lowered stock style suspensions with no issue. Maybe at full lock you can induce a slight tap of any given thing, but unless you whip lock to lock, you would never notice. I cannot honestly recall ever thinking I had.

I actually want to get a few things clearanced and try to fit 285 or 295's up front. Eliminate a little understeer.
