What kind of original documentation/svt "binder" do you have or that you know came with the car? What kind of Special/Unique plaques and such came on the car? How can you spot the differences between a GT and Cobra?

Here ya go,

Looking at Glance, Differences include:
Most Noticeable are Unique Front Fascia, Unique Hood(1996-1998), "COBRA" on the Rear Valance(1996-1998), and Cobra Specific Wheels(94, 95 Chrome plated; 96, 97 Machined face; 98 Cobra R). They also have 13in brakes that fill the rims, compared to the smaller brakes on the GT.
The VIN has a Cobra Specific Number, see below, DOHC Engine with Engine Plaque, Snake Side Emblems, SVT Badge on the Rear and COBRA on the steering wheel. The Cobra also got White Sport Gauges and close to all Cobras were fully optioned. Although most people think it came stock, the Snake in the front grill was an aftermarket item. All Cobras from 1994-2004 came with the Running Horse as original equipment.

“Certificates of Authenticity are provided to registered owners of SVT products,whether purchased new or used. The certificates contain exact information and detail the production number, date of production, vehicle identification number and where the vehicle was produced. These certificates are automatically sent to all new owners. All others requesting certificates must provide legal documentation showing the vehicle identification number, your name and current address, and a document validating you as the owner. Examples of this documentation would be a certificate of insurance, registration, title or buyers order. A copy of the documentation must be Faxed or mailed to SVT Headquarters in order to receive the certificate.”

Also What kind of Plaques are on the car itself? And where are they located?

there would only be 1 plaque.. on the passenger side valve cover towards the front..

maybe we could get a list of everything the Cobra's showed up with at the dealership lot with and what was added by the dealer.

I believe they had plastic covering the steering wheel at seats. i seem to recall a hang tag in the glove box but not sure of it's statement
brochure, and Cobra vs. GT spec sheet

what else did these cars come with brand new? is there any suppliers if nos parts for these items? if so links would be excellent for those after the brand new style presentation at shows.
