Well, I purchased the wheels in the polished finish and found the sensors at Ford Racing Parts so now I will put a 275/35/20 Pilot SS on the front but not 100% for the rears? Maybe a Nitto 555R 305/35/20 just to feel safer or a Pilot SS 305/30/20 Still on the fence because I never drive this Shelby but when and if I do I think that the Nitto may be a good choice!

Nitto will give you more grip, but less longevity, depending on driving style. I would rather have the Nitto on there. Or some Mickey Thompson ET Street Rs

Driving style! I put only 2 miles last year and it has only around 700 miles on it but my wife is driven my crazy to make the time and drive it so this year I hope to put some miles on it or it's just a big waste of money sitting around! Looking forward to having the Venice wheels at such a great purchase price and a tire that will hold the 662 h.p You only live once so why not enjoy what you already own!

Ohio Snake--the car looks great. So just to confirm, the305/35/20 on the rears don't have any figment issues at all? Also, you purchased new lug nuts? I spoke to Shelby and they informed me the factory lugs would fit. What exact lug nuts did you purchase and from who? Shelby? Also, do you have any more pictures of your car from the front or back looking down the size so I can see how far out the rubber bulges off the rim?

Sonic 03 Cobra--I am interested in what the 315/35's look like as well and if they are going to fit? Can't wait to see pictures.

Thanks guys!!

The 305/35/20 on the rears fit with absolutely no issues. I had to purchase new lug nuts as my OEM lugs were too wide for the wheel lug holes. I understand that some OEM lugs are different size on different year and model variants. My OEM lugs were on a performance package GT500 with the 19"/20" staggered fitment. It is quite possible your OEM lugs will fit. I ordered my lugs direct from Gorilla Automotive Products as a wheel kit and lock. try these pictures.

Thanks for the reply and pics. I wasn't going to go that wide with all 4 tires but after looking at your car and hearing that you don't have any issues with fitment at all, I am leaning that way. I was thinking 275/35 front and 295/35 rear but again, I really like the look of your sizes. I have a 2014 with the performance pack wheels that are staggered 19"/20" so I hope that does not make a difference. I guess I will have to wait and see regarding the lugs.

I just checked the Shelby website about the lug nuts and now recall why i bought new lugs nuts. The OEM will fit for 2007-2014 mustangs. The narrower lug is required for 2015-2017 mustangs. I bought new for two reasons: 1) my OEM lugs were marked up from the lug socket I was using....hence the reason i bought a narrow plastic shielded lug socket set. The socket set wont scratch the rim and leaves no marks on the lugs. Check the socket to be sure it fits the wheel lug holes. The original lug socket I had would not fit. 2) The black anodized looks so much better on the black rim instead of the chrome plated.

How is the height of a 275/35 vs. a 305/30?

I run a Nitto 315 on a 11" rear and it is square on the sidewall. Going 315 on 10.5 is going to create some sidewall bulge. If MPSS, you will have more since they run oversize.

The super sports tend to run a size small. I ended up with 275/40 on the stock rims as they measured the same as the Goodyear 265/40s that were stock.

According to Michelin, the 275/35 are 27.6", 305/30 are 27.2", and 315/35 are 28.7" overall diameter.

Tires came today. Rims are somewhere between CA and PA.

that's a heck of a price for real forged wheels. even less than the fauxrged wheels people are running.

you will certainly be fine with 305 tires. 315s should work as well as long as the car doesnt have a big drop.

Based on my experience, the MPSS were larger than the Invos in equal sizes. That is also the common consensus on the various forums.

I look forward to seeing these mounted and how they fit. Please report back.

Thanks Steve for this confirmation…my local tire shop quoted me NT555’s in a 315/35 on these Venice wheels….he said if I’m at stock height I will only need an adjustable panhard bar.

you may not need an adj panhard bar if youre at stock height. its pretty uncommon to need one on a stock car. you definitely need one if you lower it. id put the wheels on first and then see if you need one. -not that its a bad mod and its not expensive to put one on. but it may not be necessary.

then again, you should give your car at least a slight drop lol.
