Possible t56 magnum issues ????

Bought a t56 magnum close to 2 years ago. Just now pitting it in my fox. Install went great. Slide the drive shaft in and try to turn it to line the drive shaft up with the rear and no luck. The tailshaft doesn't soon with trans in neutral. Any ideas??? Trans is dry btw

If it's in neutral and still in gear a circlip is off or the clutch is bound up.

Yea I'm thinking it's the clutch or the input shaft having pressure from a too tight bearing
