So I came across some reman DB heads on a cobra page on Facebook and jumped on them. As of now I have no use for them but always wanted a spare set, just in case.

They will be included in plastic containers. So they should be sealed up good. I'll have to look, but should I put oil on them to prevent rust? I'll likely keep them stored in my basement.

I ended up paying 1236.00 shipped, which includes PayPal protection.

Here's some pictures he sent me.

I would spray them down with WD-40 and then wrap them up and put them away. I’d focus on the cams and roller rockers, the parts that can actually rust.

I know DB is a revised 9 thread head but I'd hate for them to be advertised and purchased as one thing and turn out to be another just looking out for the OP.

Maybe throw some desiccant packets in the plastic bins to help keep the moisture out? I need to find a set like these for a future build.

Saw a show on Velocity where a guy stored motor parts submerged in oil to make sure no air could get to the metal and allow corrosion. Maybe you can put them in a rubber maid tub and cover them with an inexpensive motor oil

I have the amsoil metal protector. It works very well. I would chose this over WD-40.
