Returnless, Fore FC3 wiring

Keeping the FPDM in place, what should I use at the Trigger wire for Pump 1 so it primes and shuts off just like factory with Key On?

I found a thread talking about wiring up a Relay and using Pin 10 and Pin 3 out of the FPDM. Pin 10 being Pump Power and Pin 3 being Pump Ground. Says use Pin 3 as the trigger.

However, I assume with the FC3, I would use Pin 10 -Pump Power- as a trigger wire for Pump 1 since it says it needs + 6.5 Vdc to trigger the pump.

If not using a hobbs switch to activate the 2nd pump just use pump 2 & 3 for pump +/- and then relay pin 87 goes to pump 2/3 input on the FC3.

I don't know the internals of the FC3 but if you only have one slot for pump 1 trigger I believe that it will need the ground pin3. That thread is a long one but I'm sure someone used the FC3 in using that method. Malcolm wrote it that way because he is using separate 40A relays for each pump so you would use pin3 and 10 for the pump 1 relay.
