Royal Purple: Flow Rate?

I just changed the oil in my cobra and I used Royal Purple. I've never used RP, but I am using the same viscosity as the last oil change (5W-20). When I was pouring it into the funnel, I noticed that it appeared to flow faster, as if it was thinner. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

I haven't driven the car since the oil change, only idled in the garage. I just keep having the recurring thought that I won the 'one in a million' bad oil batch lottery and if I drive the car, I will destroy my engine due to improper lubrication.

Any thoughts?

I'm a fan of their rear gear lube and use it on everything. the only RP oil that I have used and used it on my 03 Cobra, but it was the 5w20 XPR. Other than that, never really been a fan of their oil. but being that 5W20 is thin and full syn..sounds right on what you are describing. Should be fine. but if it still bothers, you...toss it out and put in some Amsoil (which I use on my 14) or Mobile 1 full syn.
