Just bought an 11 and the supercar F1 tires are like driving on ice in the spring here in WI. When I had my 600rwhp WS6 I ran 555's in the rear and they seemed great compared to these things. Any other suggestions on a tire that could be driven if I get stuck in rain once in a great while?

I'm really enjoying the Nitto NT555 G2 as a street tire. I ran the first revision NT555s on my 2006 and the Gen IIs are a lot better IMO.

Today it was roughly 50 degrees out, and even the wife commented wow even when it's spinning it's still pulling, in comparison to the stock Goodyears, it would just blow them off.

The G2s actually allow you to peddle the car, and it not just be an on or off scenario. They have surpassed my expectations considering they are just a street tire. I have Hoosier DRs for the serious business.

I actually feel like I have a driver mod now. I did blow the doors off an STI the other day from a dig, never saw him. Probably would have thought twice on the Goodyears lol.

not a fan of nto5r. Removed after 100 miles. 555r much better for street imo. Track I think the nto5r would have the advantage

After my 305 555r's got worn out (as you can see in the pic) I decided to go to a 315 NT05R in the rear. Boy do I love these tires! I put 5,000 miles on them last year (barring only one heat cycle) after my daily broke down. Id say they are only half worn and still hook great with my 615whp. In those 5,000 miles I got trapped in the rain many times but never had any issues with hydroplaning. I drove with some common sense but I would still do 65ish on the highway and never had an issue. I will probably never buy a different drag radial again. NT05R all the way for me. 13055305_10205915853806411_2707373848843160008_n.jpg 13256235_10206052264136584_7555963090815458367_n.jpg 13177308_10205966097182464_4240645777717462910_n.jpg 13177789_10205966096262441_8849679580380046360_n.jpg
