The Touring mufflers are similar to stock mufflers in regards to overall loudness (maybe a touch quieter if anything, but close overall). S-Types are a good bit louder than stock mufflers.

Both the touring & s-types (in quad tip format like the ones listed here) lack the deep tone I personally prefer. IMHO the stock mufflers have more deep sound than either of these. Might be due to my headers + off-road mid pipe though.

Of course, the deep tone I like is what also produces drone. There's always a trade off. FWIW, neither of these mufflers produce any drone.
