Are there any good shops in the SeaTac area? I've done some digging and see there ARE shops, but the reviews on most of these guys are harsh. Would just like a shop where I can get some things done here and there, and eventually have a good, trustworthy shop for bigger projects.

    Thanks!

The best shop around is Brad's custom auto in Seattle..but you only get appointments weeks and weeks away. I guess its a plus though

I've been talking with The Mustang Shop in Kent to do my tuning when my build is done. Seems like they are knowledgeable and know what they're doing. Haven't had them do anything for me (because I do almost all my own work). But I will report back with my dyno experience.

If you need work done on the north end, bills custom auto. In the south, tms.

I know its an old post, but did you ever get your tune done at TMS? I had a tune done in December of 2016, HP was a bit lower than the last dyno run, but no problems here.

+1 for Matt at TMS. He did a good job on my Tune and I had 4.10's installed there too. I've had all good experience there.

Is AD performance still up and running? Not sure what all they offer other than engine work though.

I've read recent bad reviews. Just google the mustang shop reviews and they'll pop up. I can't speak from experience because I never took my car there. Reason being, bad reviews. There's a shop in Auburn called Revolution Speed Shop. Great, knowledgeable group of guys. Quality work and fair pricing. They just don't tune there since they don't have a dyno. If I was to do a dyno tune, I'd go with Blood enterprises or Brad's custom auto. I personably decided to not go with either and go with a VMP tune, data logging it myself on the street.

    I'm email tuned too
I've never had them tune either because I like my tuner, but I've had matt tune a few of my friends cars with zero issues.

Unless something has changed in the last year, Brad's doesn't do tuning. They will send it out. I had the absolute worst experience at Brad's. I went there and All I wanted was a baseline dyno pull and O2 bung welded on and it turned into a 4+ hour $500 ordeal. I was kinda pissed off, and don't really care to go back there.

I like Blood, I feel like they do more LS stuff, but I haven't been in there in awhile.

Matt at TMS is good, cares about his work and is personable. They also have a new dyno. No reason not to give them a shot.

I may be bias because I work at TMS. But Matt Installed my turbo kit and Tuned it. The car has 225k Miles and it's been my daily for the past 7 years and over a year with the turbo and I have never had an issue with my tune.

Just keep in mind our Dyno reads low

Majority of our bad reviews are prior to our new owner and crew. You can read our facebook reviews

Most of the old crew went to RSS I think. Haven't heard much about them actually.

I'm sure they are getting better, but their past is most definitely not positive.
