I wasn't knocking you at all ;). These 'spy' shots Ford is letting people have are a joke. We have no more legit info than we did 2 years ago lol...I'm not getting excited until there is something running around without camo and there is an underhood shot to go with it. The anticipation is getting old....at least Dodge gave people a nice run up and some info along the way. JMO I guess.

yes, but unlike what the pill posted, this one actually seems to be new lol. Found it on another forum posted today. Haven't been able to find it on any other site yet.

I didn't take it as a knock. I know exactly how you feel.

Any chance we see a new form of forced induction with this car to help make it more unique? Turbo/SC hybrid, electrically driven SC, etc?

It'll be a new form of nuclear power with a Montgomery chamber spun by a Barney mug centered on a Flanders flange.

Oh, and a homer lounge for the minions to rest between revolutions.

I'm hoping for a Mecklenburgh driven turbo.

Who wouldn't want to pop the hood and see Lucy Mecklenburgh blowing into the block?

thePill said fusion reactor powered, your information is WAY off. Ford has been working with CERN under the darkest of cloaks.

They're learning from Dodge about "Easter eggs"

Side note:

The demon isn't living up to the hype. Go figure.

My opinion:

I called this months ago. On a day a 13 gt500 goes 11.50@125+, the stripper demon may go 9.90@136+. I'd bet an interior appointed one goes 10.4's@131.

In conditions where a trinity gt500 goes 11.25@128, the stripper demon will go 9.65@140 but the loaded (who buys a gutted $85k car?) demon will probably go 10.0@136

In this day when motortrend went 11.0 in a demon, a trinity gt500 would have probably gone 12.3@120.

Definitely slower, but bpu trinity's have easily gone real world 9.50's on slicks/skinnies with 140+. Mineshaft that car and it's a sub 9.25 145mph car.

Physics ended up remaining physics. The hype was called out.

Carry on with regularly scheduled broadcasting, sorry for the interruption. Still though, an easy 10 second car it is, credit where do. But the 9's will be very rare. I imagine very few tracks can offer the conditions needed for that.

So as regular car it's high 10's. Yes that is fast but no where near the 9's that were being plastered about.

Still like to see it face off against a recent cobra jet....Ben??

I totally agree with this 100%...I have said this before, this car with its weight and 840 engine hp rating is not adding up to a consistent mid 9 second car..I say a fully loaded demon mid to upper 10s all day back to back..but 10 and under? Nah not seeing it on a consistent basis
