All that power and still a mt82...
Not made of money lol! It'll hold for a year it won't have any tires that'll hook hard enough to break it, my buddy's car makes 694 and it gets driven hard and its doing just fine. And I'm undecided as to what I wanna do, might go 6r80 when my other buddy goes glide.

MT-82 sure does get a lot of hate but everybody I know has 0 issues with them, including me lol
It'll hold up long enough until I can afford a Magnum swap or 6r80 lol my buddy's TT car makes 694 and gets beat on like a red headed step child and works just fine.

You going to post a dyno sheet when you're done the build?

Thank you! I will be eventually I'm sure the stocker won't be happy for long
Do it now, my paxton 13 broke the clutch after a dyno pull(650whp and 500wtq) popped the springs and shredded the center hub. With a turbo the car should make more tq and I think the factory clutch is close enough to its limit around 500wtq my car only had 6000k on it about 800 miles with paxton one track session. At the time thought it was trans so I ordered a magnum and clutch, before it happened car shifted great, I think I would put a good clutch and the mt82 should hold up for a while and if anything I would send it out to liberty gears bronze shift forks and hardened the gears and it should be good till 600-700 wtq maybe more the input shaft on tremec is 85 vs 82 for main shaft. I liked the magnum but like the mt82 and for $1800 for upgrade including shipping I would of went that route.

Hey man, nice build so far! I've got a few questions before I start building mine:

1. what kind of radiator fan setup is that? The shroud is very minimal, do you think that you cause any cooling issues in the summer? Im in TX and that's a concern for me.

2. how is the turbo mounted? Do you have a brace for it? Can you get pictures of that?

3. what type of hotside piping is that, mild aluminized steel, or stainless?

4. where did you get the exhaust manifold flanges? Did you cut up and existing h-pipe you had?

5. is that flex section stainless steel? Is it an interlocking liner, or just a standard weaved?

6. Did you remove your front swaybar?! Say it ain't so!! Lol :) I'm keeping mine no matter what. If I have to crush the hotside a little or use oval tubing, i'm going to do it.

This thread is getting me motivated. Keep up the good work and MORE PICS!!! :D :D :D:rockon:
