Sway Bar End links rotted boot

Thought I would share.

So I was confident that my half shaft outer boot was cracked. Well last weekend I built up enough confidence to remove it, after degreasing all the gunk on it. I realize that the boot is intact.
It turned out that the sway bar end links boots were rotted off, and they sprayed the bit of grease all over the half shafts, and inner rims, replaced both sides this weekend with OE from AM....

Mine were the same way after 20K and I replaced them with FTBR ones from AM.

Can they be replaced with everything in place or does the halfshaft have to be pulled?

I replaced mine with everything apart while doing ftbr kit.Mine were rotted and I think bent. I had to cut these off. If they come off clean you may be able to get these out with everything together.
