Track pack diff capacity

It’s 3 qts with NO additive correct? Drained and resealed the diff cover just checking to making sure I add the right amount.

No additive is correct. I just filled until it dripped out the fill hole on the housing like any other 8.8. Took a little less than 3 quarts.

What he said. If you have friction modifier, fill in this order.

1) diff fluid
2) friction modifier
3) diff fluid

If it is a Track Pack there is no need for friction modifier, the Torsen diff does not require it to function.

The trans is the same but Torsen takes almost 3qt of diff fluid with no modifier

I wound using about 3 quarts and decided to use the lube locker gasket I bought. So far so good!
