You might have belt slip problems with a 2.8" pulley from what I've read.

I've heard that as well. But we will be going 8 rib with a anti slip coated pulley. So hopefully no slip!

What pulley/boost are you running? We're about to run a 2.8 upper stock lower and shoot for 20#'s!

I run a 3.7 6 rib with Anderson power pipe. I see 10ish pounds in summer but as high as 13 in fall. I have a stock short block

It's gonna slip, you're better off to run a larger blower pulley and run and overdriven crank pulley.

The smaller blower pullies just don't do well with the steep step up ratio in prochargers. They seem to work ok with the vortechs but the procharger guys almost always have issues with them slipping. If you already have the parts you can give it a try but don't be surprised if it has belt slip issues.
