Long story short I have been doing a lot of maintenance on my car including replacing the entire power steering system (rack failed and I decided to do the whole system). Among those things, I installed a new power steering pump and I am currently trying to attach my new high pressure line to the pump. Has anyone had issues getting the line started? Part of me thinks it is just an issue getting things lined up (no pun intended). It definitely seems like the right size and I even held up the plastic plug that came in the pump to it. Do I just need to try and bend the line with some vice grips or something? It gets really close but I'm not completely sure it is at the right angle, and the alternator bracket kind of gets in the way. Has anyone run into any issues like this? Any tips? Thanks!

Are both sides connected already? Maybe start at the pump then do the other end?
The booster end is connected, but I can always take it back off and try from the pump side first. Thanks
I got it connected. Car is finally almost ready to get back on the road!
