Sorry guys if this has already been posted there's a lot of info on this forum to sort though. I'm just trying to figure out if my water pump is the cause. It's a 03 cobra 50,000 miles with 2.6 KB with all supporting mods. Ok, after noticing that the the temp. gauge going to H, I pulled over to notice antifreeze on the ground and steam coming from the ... over heating. When I got the car home I replaced the tstat thinking that was it. When I went to burp the system I noticed no circulation from the burp tube where you let the air pockets come out of and fluid rising in the expansion tank after running the car for 10 minutes. So I shut the car off. Any thoughts of what it could be and was I doing something wrong when burping the system. Thanks

I never burp my car running..

I start cold.

Fill rad as much as you can.
Remove plug.

Fill at plug until it comes out rad.

Install rad cap..continue to fill at plug..

When full..put plug on..

Start car. .run till fan comes on.

Shut off..

Let it sit enough to get rad cap off..

Repeat steps..

When starting after tstat replacement it should take 3 gallons..it holds 4total

I was going to post today I realized just that I didn't allow for the tstat replacement. I actually did all that and everything is good. Thank you for the reply anyway.
