Hey everyone,
I have a factory five 33 hotrod that I am building and I am getting close to firing the engine for the first time. My question is how do I go about tuning it. Here is a list of what I have:
-2015-17 Coyote crate 9:1 Compression
-Ford performance control Pack
-Gen 3 Whipple 2.9
-T-56 magnum
-McLeod RXT
- IRS Out of 2015-17 Mustang 3:55
Questions are:
- For first start do I need a tune or is the tune in control pack okay?
- Assuming I need a tune before first start, whats the best options for that?
- Last question is, if I dont need a tune for first start, can I drive it to a tuner with out problems?
Thanks in advance for the help. I contacted lund tuning and they advised me to contact PBH. I reached out to PBH through email about two weeks ago and have not heard back from them.
