removing rear spoiler

I really was thinking of going spoiler-less, is it double sided taped in or is it bolted in? anyone... please help asap because im washing it tomorrow and claying it

From what I've read there are 4 studs holding it in place in conjunction with 3M tape.

There should be 2 studs with nuts on the underside of the trunk lid. If you open the trunk you will see 2 rubber plugs. If you remove those plugs, I think you will see the nuts that need to be removed.
The rest is double sided tape.
End result is you will have holes in your trunk lid once removed.

the stock spoiler has 4 bolts, thus 4 holes. I changed my pedestal spoiler for the stock unit. With the pedestal spoiler there is 8 holes. Mine is going to the body shop in a couple weeks to fill four holes.
