Mine aligned perfect with the stock ball.

Glad yours worked out Kevin

There must be some slight differences in my setup and yours. I'm wishing now I would have taken some measurements and pics to show what I was talking about, so others could see and possibly benefit from if needed.

I know what you are talking about. I have see them on some of the Street Twins and RAM Twins as well.

When my clutch is out there is no tension on the fingers so it has full capability of holding. If it slips it won't be because of the pivot ball.

Hopefully yours works better now.

Ok I finished up everything!

Last thing, and one of the best, was CobraBob's Shifter Gasket to replace my old one.

I also added my Penzoil Syncromax through the shifter as well.

Got everything else buttoned up and sat behind the wheel for final checks.

The clutch is SO EASY it is almost comical! When people say like a Honda they really mean it! The pedal effort has to be at least half if not more than the stock one was!

Now I will have to drive my 500 break in miles and give my feedback as I do.

Stay tuned....

You aren't kidding about the pedal effort. I swapped my FRPP adjustable cable out last night for my freshly lubed stock cable and I thought I forgot to hook it up because it is sooooo smooth and light.

I also had to lose the LDC freeplay spring because it wouldn't work with the stock cable (due to a modification I had made to it before). So, essentially I have the same clutch control setup as you have now. It's a joy to drive again! Shifts like butter!

You are going to smile the first time you drive it

If anyone installs this RXT clutch with the stock cable, quick release quadrant, firewall adjuster, etc and doesn't say "oh my goodness" the first time they push in the clutch, then something isn't right. Get under there and find the problem.

Sorry to clutter up your thread Kevin.

OK. I was able to take the car for a test drive this evening.

First impression was more than I had hoped for. The clutch is so easy, it's crazy! No signs of chatter whatsoever even if I tried.

As long as it holds the power and stays like this, I see no reason ever to go with a different clutch.

I want to thank the people that helped me with going RXT. I was afraid of driveability with the RXT vs the RST, but those worries are gone!

Big thanks to Jared at Lethal Performance as well!

As always Top Notch! Thanks guys!

I will update after my 500 break in miles.

Just out of Curiosity Kevin, it takes me about 3-5 months to put 500 miles on my car. So does that mean your clutch will be broke in around 2015...:lol1::rolling:

great write up and great work, hope everything goes good for you!

Mine has a slight bit of chatter when going from a start, which has improved every time I drive it and is almost all gone now.

I did notice you used your stock flywheel, whereas I used a new Fidanza. Do you (or others) think this could be the cause of my chatter? Maybe your stock flywheel is already a little smoother allowing the ceramic disks to mesh/slide easier instead of grabbing? I am pretty picky and really took my time and made sure everything was clean and correct.

It's good to have someone doing a similar mod at the same time to compare notes with.

Yeah. I don't know if it has anything to do with the flywheel or not. I am really picky as well and if it chattered I would be the first to let everyone know.

No chatter during break in? Wow...
Yep. I was surprised as well.

I even tried to make it chatter with no luck. I can take off at idle without my foot on the accelerator pedal and it doesn't stall or chatter. I was like

Kevin, what`s your opinion of the "Anti Venom" mod so far?
I did notice a slight improvement, but nothing shocking IMO. Still glad I did it though. Seems to work nice with the easy pedal effort of the clutch. Makes driving the car a breeze!
