ok i DID search, quite a bit actually. but the word "e85" is too short, and is not included in the search....

i am trying to figure out what it is going to take to get my cobra to convert over to e85.

is there a kit to buy? is it something i have to piece together?
is there a run down on all the parts necessary to convert over?

again my searches yeilded not much info on the subject.

Thanks Jimmy!

OP, all you need to run E85 is around 30% more fuel volume. (Ie larger pumps and injectors) and a retune.

I have a good idea of what I need, how much of what, idk. I dont want to over do it with the $ but at the same time I don't want to under shoot anything.

What my setup is now is a 2.6h kb @ 21psi w/22° max timing.

What can I get away with as far as what size pumps, and how many, what size fuel lines, what size injectors, reuse stock fuel tank or go aftermarket? Any other misc things that I don't know about

For fuel it really depends on what you want. I would go with a return style fuel system like Lethals triple kit or go with Aeromotive or Jay Racing pumps in a triple configuration. Run 2 full time and the third off a Hobbs Switch.

That and some 80# injectors would be all you would need.

This one correct? Lethal Performance 03-04 Cobra Triple Pump Fuel System [LP-0304COBTRIPLEPUMPSYS] : Lethal Performance, Performance parts for Ford Mustangs

-6 lines will be efficient? I may have missed it, but I didn't see anything that it was a return style? What about the corrosiveness of ethanol on these components?

Sorry, I'm a noob, I'm still learning on this stuff.

Will my BAP now become obsolete with this lethal perf return style system? What about the frps, is that needed with a return style system? Oh, and how about my modded fpdm? Can use? obsolete?

Ok thanks. I've been doing all this research on my phone since my pc is frozen, I didn't even see that one, lol.

So basically, that kit and 80# injectors I should be all good, besides a retune?
Correct.

You won't need it any more unless you want to use it to regulate voltage to your pumps.

What about the frps, is that needed with a return style system?
Needed? no. But I would keep it to help with pulse width on the injectors.

Oh, and how about my modded fpdm? Can use? obsolete?
You can sell it. It is not needed any more.

I'm not sure of the rules on bringing back a dead thread, or if anyone will see this, but I'm trying to set up e85 on my 03 Cobra and Lethal Performance no longer sells a triple hat return style kit. However I could piece one together with parts from their site.

My question is: Will this Dual hat system be sufficient and if so how much power can that setup support? 04Sleeper mentions a triple hat system with 2 full time and 1 on a hobbs switch. If I just run the Dual Walbro high pressure 465lph E85 Compatible pumps will I be good or is the 3rd really needed? Sorry, I'm a noob at fuel systems and forums. If the answer is out there I haven't been able to find it. Any help it greatly appreciated.
