I did the same exact thing after I read that haha

I always wondered how/if that worked. If you have ever seen the movie Inside Man, they do this with bigger infared lights and shoot them at the surveilance camera's berfore robbing the bank, same concept, very cool.

Digital camera sensors are actually sensitive to infrared light. Most cameras have an IR filter right on the sensor to make the photos look more natural. If you take that filter off and put a certain filter over the lens, you can take some interesting photos. Trees come out white, the sky is really dark, etc...

Yup, thats a 82 Ferrari Boxer in that picture. Friends dad owns one.
