Yea speacial thanks to cobracide on the lubelocker. I took his advice and couldn't be more pleased. The Ford cover looks nice almost as nice as the LPW:lol1:

Correct, however it looks like the ford racing has stainless steel hardware, where I had to spend about 30 bucks to get the arp ss bolts.

Gotcha, I haven't even opened the LPW box to took at the bolts yet, guess I'll order the ARP's as well even though I don't plan on ever having to go back in.

So is the hardware on this good do you think? I heard about this 2 months ago at a Shelby Convention at VIR. FRPP used to make an IRS cover but they didnt sell enough back in the day, so they stopped production. Now they made another one, and well...here it is. Probably going to buy this one soon.

Wonder what Tousley wants for it. Nice piece

FORDSVTPARTS"$;214.50, plus around $15-20ish for shipping. This one is not available right now :( the ETA as of this time is 8/30 from Ford Racing."

Thanks!

Whats the difference from the LPW hardware VS ARP's hardware,.. stainless??? The LPW harware seemed to fit tight according to torque specs with sufficent threads.

Yes its stainless,stronger& looks better!

so the lpw cover comes with hardware its just not stainless/any good? I see the pro series comes with stainless hardware and black cover for more money, i was under the assumption that the regular lpw cover came with no hardware.

It comes with general 6 point hardware. The arp bolts are 12 point stainless With a yield strength of 170,000 psi well worth the couple bucks while you have the rear out!!!!!

So think $230 shipped, just like the LPW cover. Now the question is about the hardware...how good is it? Looks to be stainless, but is it strong?
