Hey everyone,
Just moved over to this side of the cobra town. I just bought blown verts' 16k mile 96 mystic and I am doing a few odds and ends to it. She loves sleeping next to my 03 Cobra!
Anyway, on to the question. The mystic did not have plug wire covers and honestly I am looking for a set of stockers, but I may have to settle for polished ones or something. The ones I am coming across are for sticking to the stockers, which obviously I do not have. I came across a few old thread where they were being made, however, those threads are a few years old. Any insight?

More dumb questions to follow as I know NOTHING about this year.

Alex:beer:

Not to leave you hanging, here is a shot he took. I have it in a million pieces cleaning it up. Will have some good ones soon!

Congrats on the purchase! It's a nice looking car!

To my knowledge, no one is making the stock plug wire covers as a restoration part yet. I would say you're best bet is to call a salvage yard, like MPS Auto Salvage ( MPS Auto Salvage -Mustang salvage, New and Used Mustang parts ) and see if they have any. It seems like they're always parting out a few 96-98 Cobras.

If you're looking for the stock plastic ones, I've got a set. Make me an offer. Idk what they're worth.

I have sourced a set of coil covers thanks Greg! Any insight how to replace the nuts that hold them on? Sizes or other options you have done?

Also, please pardon my stupid questions in this forum, some are incoming!

I have never, ever, once seen anyone but this guy asking for a set. I'd say barely more than the shipping is going to be on them.

I am trying to return it as close to stock as I can (kinda hard with a pro charger and a T56). Also, I was just looking for any type of coil cover and I was coming up short except for the ones that attach to the stockers. I guess most are going COP conversion?
