Just like that baby. 1500 short, aluminum block and try out their new pistons.
Car has been sitting for a few months with what turns out to be two burned/busted/gummed up pumps. Guy was bugging me so bad about getting a ride I told him if he figured it out, I would fix it and take him out lol. I figured I left a ground off or something because they had power, but wouldn't turn on. Might have gummed up when I had it out working on it. They weren't in gas. Now I gotta find pumps :whine:

This was the first short that I've ever used/ran that I didn't assemble myself, so to say the least, I was a little worried about building the rest of my engine around something that I didn't have a hand in building. Those guys did one heck of a job. I went over it with a fine tooth comb before I installed the first bolt and I was pretty impressed with the quality.

I'd say my future plans with my car are pretty similar to yours and I'm looking forward to seeing how your kit works with that motor.

See I have the same dilemma. I've done every other other engine of mine, too. I'll probably even have to drop it off at my local machine shop to have it assembled the rest of the way.:nonono: I just don't have the time right now. I wasn't even the one who figured what was wrong with the fuel system. Someone got tired of seeing it sit and did it for me lol. Although when the replacement pumps get here they will sit until the same person shows up again lol. :bash:

Ronnie is breaking in a new clutch and gears. Go back with a fuel system on par and turn it up! I looked at mine yesterday lol. I just need to find time. Hopefully soon. Had the twin kit plus all the crap that went with that and the jigs. Took a good while. Like to get back on mine at some point. Not much left really. Throw the pumps back in and get a new driveshaft.
