this 392 with a big cam heads and intake with full exhaust will be a monster. i love my cobra, and i love the 500's and i love the 5.0, but im tired of FI all the time to see big gains. this car will be making great power and huge torque na when built.
I hate to tell ya man but I think the DOHC FI Forged motor was way ahead of its time and is a good inidcator of what is to come. Smaller displacement, overhead cam motors with variable timing and Forced Induction. The push rod motor, while nice, makes great power and is proven technology, will become obsoleted in the near future for production cars. Maybe in race application, will the pushrod V8 still be used but I see the market going in the other direction for production vehicles. Just my opinion though..
Just look at the Cobra and the power that can be made from a small 281ci motor. Why use a huge displacement motor when you can compensate it with a supercharger or turbo?
