We have taken the time to develop a Boss 302 specific set of springs for competition and street use. Our Boss 302 specific springs will greatly improve your Boss 302's overall weight distribution. This is achieved by lowering the ride height only 0.2 inches in the front, and 0.7 to 0.8 inches in the rear.

With the front ride height remaining largely unchanged your front roll center geometry remains intact. Spring rates are substantially increased to greatly reduce body roll and reduce nose dive under braking for greatly improved control and balance.

These springs achieve all of this while maintaining near stock ride quality characteristics making them completely streetable, so if you enjoy taking your Boss 302 Mustang around town, you will enjoy it even more with these springs!

Still none in that thread...

I'll probably wait until next spring or summer to try them, unless reports come in that they're woking well...and still are livable for the street. I have pretty good paving around here, so I'm not too worried about that.

Can you give me ride height and spring rate comparison between these and my M 5300 P springs? They are mounted on my 2011 Mustang GT Brembo car. I am looking for something similar in ride height but a little stiffer.

On a standard GT the springs will lower the car about 3/4 of an inch in the front and around 1 1/4 in the rear. Ford just says their 5300-P springs lower 1 inch, with no front/rear distinction.

I would say appearance would be similar between the 2, ride would be stiffer, although with our spring rates we do not recommend stock GT shocks and struts.

Our being the Boss 302 adjustable? Or aftermarket? The answer is actually they work good with both, just was not sure how you meant it.

If you are a GT owner those shocks are not up to the task for these spring rates and should be upgrades with aftermarket adjustables.

i am a boss owner. i thought LS and regular boss have different shocks? if so, are they more suitable for LS or the regular one.

Yes, shocks ae valved differently, position "1" on the LS is the same as "5" on the regular Boss.

are there any other spring choices for the boss 302? i searched everywhere, steeda is the only one i could come up with. i just wish they could be lowered a little more, im not liking the body roll...

The body roll will definitely be solved, but suspension geometry wise we could not justify lowering the car much more, it would have negated some of the handling benefits. Those could be corrected with additional parts but we chose to go this route instead so you would not be forced into additional parts. Ball joints, bump steer, etc can still be used, but are optional.

Initial impressions are a lot better than I expected. I can't believe how much flatter the LS corners now and nose dive during hard braking is considerably reduced.

Gus, please let everyone involved with development know they did a tremendous job!

Gus do you have to install caster plates to do a new front end alignment after the springs are installed?

You dont have to get plates unless you want to change camber. Your front alignment should end up nearly identical to what you started with because the front ride height barely changes if you are installing these on a Boss.

For GT owners who are using these springs the alignment change will be more significant due to the drop, but should still not require plates unless you want the adjustment.

I installed a set of these springs yesterday and the rear was lowered a little over an inch, but the front was just a tad higher then stock. Has anyone else experienced this? It's only been 24hrs, really hoping the front springs will settle. The car looks great, handles great, but the front end needs to come down about a half inch.

Im interested in these as well. I would like to see what the stance of the car is also after they settle in. Im not a big fan of the rake the car has and would like to improve the handling even more.
