I just want to personally thank Slocum for working with Revan Racing and L&M Engines and Lund Racing on this build. Much more to come Stay Tuned...
This is one of the instances where Revan Racing took the lead for the project as we have done on many other projects to deliver the highest quality products and craftsmanship available in the industry today!!
A single point of contact for all of your build needs. Suspension, Engine, Build.
Thanks Slocum.

a lot of builders you Diamond and make custom orders to the motor they're building. custom order is always better than off the shelf pistons. i've researched countless hours on my build and haven't found another 5.4 piston with thicker dome/skirt wall thickness as L&M. they also use H-13 pins while others use 9310(very strong as well). they're all the 2618 alloy, but it's the little things that set the L&M design apart.I know of at least one other builder who uses Diamond pistons built to "their specs". No doubt there are others. Makes me wonder if the various "house" Diamond pistons are like "house" Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses the national chain bedding/furniture stores sell - different order numbers, but essentially the same product.
Looking good Slocum!

i don't wanna high jack Slocum's thread. i personally have seen some very poor head work come from Livernois and will pm you about it.Thanks bull3441. Steeda guys removed, crated and sent my engine to Livernois. Since they seemed to know what they were doing, I went with their recommendation. I'll let them know they might want to consider L&M in the future.
In your research, what was the main difference between pistons used by Livernois and L&M?

^^ Yup my pistons look pretty similar to those.. I have a custom setup but from AED and to there specs.. I have upgraded thickwalled H13 pins and some other things.. Great build man!
