i personally hate that site. people are rude and there is never any decent tech info, at least in the 11 section.
i mainly use this and modfords.

Stay away from it for the '11+, its just full of people complaining about how their car dosent have as nice leather as the bmw's or benz's. Or how it doesn't do certain things aswell as the audi or lexus.

s197 is one of those forums that hates to rehash things. that being said, if you refuse to discuss something because its been brought up before, the traffic tends to dwindle.

**** 197 forum. The 2011 is different enough that it deserves its own area away from the earlier cars. SVTP is my favorite of all the sites but I still check most of the others out since some people like to stick to one site.

S197 is kinda good for super in depth tech topics but otherwise it's worthless. They're abunch of assholes for the most part.

The Mustang Source would be my other choice besides this website.

There are some good guys on S197forums, and I have read some good topics over there. The problem is, as stated before, there are some long time members there who are dedicated to that site. They can get rude, but I just over look it.

I had a thread sent to the "trash talk" area because my "for sale" items didn't have a piece of paper with my username and the date on it. The moderator and I got into it, and he didn't like the idea when I told him....

"My reputation here, more importantly on SVT Performance, is far more important than cheating someone with parts I don't actually own."

and they really didn't like it when I said, "This is why I know SVT Performance is the superior forum, we don't have this many assholes over there."

I've been on SVTP, ModFords, ModDepot, TMS, StangNet, S197 yada yada.

This is the only forum I frequent regularly. TMS is good for rumor hunting but that's about it. I remember ModFords and ModDepot being good tech sites. I couldn't tell you at this point though as I stopped viewing those forums when I had my corvettes.
