I would hope that we as a consumer could play this one smart and stop buying these once they go up. I see ford raising them higher and higher until sales fall off. Kind of a moot point seeing as theyre still making a good profit selling them for the price they are now.

Meh, I don't see them going up much. Even if they do take offs should be going for 1500 at most instead of the crazy 3k the vmp ones are trying to go for.
If 2013syou keep seeing 140 traps out of the sto blower, don't expect many take offs.
Will the '13 drive shaft work on my '12? If so wonder what tousley gets them for
It will be less of a doubt when those of us 07-09 guys who have to pass emissions (evap?) and do not have a trusted dyno tuner locally, know what to do with the new elbow and can get a quality and tested tune emailed out. Once those concerns are resolved, I will probably order this set up too. Unless the VMP set up goes on sale, in which case I will go with Justin's VMP, port matched elbow and tune, plus a DS.
I don't expect many take offs to begin with but for the ones that do it will have to be considerably lower then the new price which should help level out the market. The 140s aren't coming from stock cars and average drivers so let's not get too excited. Wait until we start seeing some older shelbys with the same blower upgrade getting hp numbers and trap speeds. Mod for mod I dont see it being much different.

I was told by my local tuner if I make the swap it would be mandatory to have a upgraded heat exchanger.
So you guys buying the 13 TVS don't mind having 5.8 on it?
I am thinking about it and don't care. My car is a DD and I don't show it.
I'm thinking of doing it anyway. My installer said with that s/c, CAI, TB and tune I could be at 700rwhp......that seems like its worth doing.
He also said we could work to take off the 5.8 part.
Waiting for tousley to confirm what I need.

You can run the stock tb and cai it just won't make as much power. I would do a 127mm JLT intake and FR 65mm tb, at that point it would be a good idea to upgrade the injectors, it never ends lol.
I was told by Steve at Tousley Ford today that my 13 TVS elbow comes with the gasket already installed and I avoided that charge. I should have it soon and will post the findings.
Doesn't bother me. People put boss intakes on their 2011+ 5.0's. Fox body guys put cobra intakes on. If there is a performance gain, it don't matter to me. People been putting parts from other motors together for years.
