Did anyone else see the ZR1 and Viper specs in the January magazine.

When they tested the GT500 it got .2 and .3 slower in the 1/4 but beat the viper by .2 from 0-150mph. Lost in breaking by 9 and 12ft.

ZR1 and viper skidpad said 200ft (not sure if that is a typo of they actually did 200ft instead of 300ft) they got .06 and .02 higher then the GT500 (at 300ft).

not too bad of numbers considering the price and rear tire size difference (0-60 was pretty bad, which makes sense with the tires).

Car and Driver AND Road and Track (sister publications under the same publisher) rarely go into detail about changes from one test to another. There are issues with testing, such as test changes and road conditions that only catch an observant eye.

There is a huge difference between a 200 foot circle and a 300. However, both times will be recorded in history.

Just read for fun...
