I finally got back in to a "sports" car after getting to to jeeps and then getting the Kia. Well Not even a week later my Dad gets a mustang...Not just any.. 2013 gt500 black on black!

Here is the kicker..he bought it after having shoulder surgery..so he can't even drive it. So I got to drive it the 80 miles from the dealership..and omg Its crazy power...1-2 just spin 3rd hooks and goes! well....sometimes.

I've done intake, off road x pipe, gt500 mufflers, sct tuner, SS clutch line. Not sure what I want to do next..just yet.

very nice must be fun getting to drive both of them. I realize the 5.0 not close in power but how does it feel compared to the gt500 after your mods? again nice cars.

Nice!! My father kind of did the same thing. I bought my 5.0 and a few weeks later he went and bought a new SS and a new Chally 392.

Haha I enjoy it actually because he drills me with questions about it. Consider it out bonding time. We picked up his Shelby last night and as soon as I got home I threw the my mustang on jack stands to install parts. He came out and help me install everything. He actually did the in take all by him self.

As comparing Gt500 is kick in the ass, sounders meaner stock, steering is tighter and steering wheel feels better) I made a deal with him, when he gets rid of it I get first dibs. I don't care if its 5 years old, it still be bad ass.

Thanks for the kind words guys

You know what the dad says to the growing son, "I will always be at least an inch taller than you"? Here's another version. LOL! But heck, your 5.0 is mighty nice, too. Not a GT-500, but mighty nice. And congratulations to your dad for buying one of the baddest cars available today. Hope he recovers quickly from his shoulder surgery so that he can drive it. :)

Thanks... I don't think I'm doing bad for just turning 25 either.

Love them both. Wish my dad would get back into a mustang again. Got mine because of all the 60s stangs he had growing up.
