Nobody can recommend a fluid anymore since ford switched to the thinner fluid. Neither Amsoil or Redline carry a product as thin as the stock fluid. When the mt82 use to have the thicker fluid, Redline recommended their MTL fluid.

I run Amsoil MTG. I use this fluid because of the extreme hot summers here. If it gets below 40 it's hard to shift for the first few miles. I use to use Redline MTL. MTL was silky smooth.

This! I use the Amsoil MTG as well for the exact same reason.

Ran Amsoil MTF near the end of summer here in San Diego. Was way to thin in 90+ degree temps and me romping on it. Perfect for San Diego winter though. Will be switching to Amsoil MTG when it starts to warm up.

I switched to thier MTF which is a 5w30. Feels way better than stock fluid. Combined with the MGW shifter = as sexy as this china tranny can get.

Redline mtl has helped my shifts in cold weather. Save your stock fluid in a milk jug in case you need warranty work.
