So today I took my cobra over to Bruce at full tilt boogie racing:

I am getting the bumpsteer kit, new diff cover, and the full IRS bushing kit done. When the IRS is being put back into the cobra, Bruce is also going to install the H&R race springs i bought and new shocks/struts. Bruce said he should have it done in 3 weeks or so. By then hopefully it will be nice to drive

man are you going to love your car when it's done! I am just driving my car after doing his full kit and WOW!!!! My car feels like a whole different car. I can actually go WOT without my car feeling like its all over the place.

Iv'e taken her on a few off/on ramps and I can barely stay placed in the seat, she feels like she's on rails and I'm holding on for dear life!

lucky guy! i would do the same if he lived close.

+1 on living close to Bruce...i forgot to mention that when i dropped the cobra off, Bruce gave me a tour of the shop, explained in detail what he was going to do and said when its torn apart he would let me know so i can come back and get some pictures. I couldn't expect anymore from Bruce; really great guy and its good to know my cobra is in good hands!

Troy, we are pleased to hear your review. :-D I try to tell people this is EXACTLY what happened to me when I put the kit in my car for the first time and some people are under the mistaken impression that I'm BS'ing them and just trying to sell parts. :rollseyes NOTHING could be further from the truth! :read:

Mike:

It was nice meeting you on Friday. Your car is in good hands. We are VERY confident you're going to be saying the same thing Troy is saying once your car is done. :dancenana:

Hearing stuff like this gives me confidence in vendors like Bruce, not everyone would do that. Needless to say I will be looking to get his kit this year
P.S have fun with that baby and report back when its all done

Yeah Mine just got Finished before Mike's. I live about 10 min from FTBR.

Mike and I both had the same thing done but Mike also had shocks. I figured I only got 7000 miles on my car so my shocks should still be good. LOL.

Maybe Mike and I can pick our cars up together... LOL!

Bruce was awesome and showed me everything in the shop.

My IRS cradle is now famous, it is the one where he shows how to remove the bushings by heating them up with a torch.

Links in my signature of the work and underbody.

nice mark on the famous IRS cradle! Let's hope by end of march we will be able to drive our cobras and it would be cool if we could pick them up at the same time! And yes, I have 41k on my cobra so while Bruce is tearing apart everything I figured shocks is something to get done while its apart. Fingers crossed for some hard rainstorms to clear the salt and some warm weather in the next 3 weeks!
