Nitto Drag Radials

Yes, you can patch them.

I would maybe patch it if it were only a street use tire, don't think I would trust a patch using it for track use.

A properly done patch is not a problem at all. If it's done right from the inside of the tire with a good patch, vulcanizing rubber cement and propper prep; it's as good as if it had never been done. DO NOT attempt to plug a drag radial though, it will not hold and there is nowhere near enough tread to sink the plug into and keep it from pulling out.

Absolutely, positively NEVER plug a drag radial.

First of all the sidewall construction is different than a conventional street tire. The additional flex of a drag radial is realized throughout the body of the tire.

Secondly, even if you could, you shouldn't if its ever used for its intended purpose.

But call Nitto and see what they tell you. Then call any one other manufacturer of drag radials and ask the same thing.
