Wonder how pricey the TPMS' are? Would like to keep things intact on the OEM's, but if they are pricey I can just have the local tire shop swap them.

Thanks for the responses guys!

Cheers,
Ray

You can usually find a good used set for $100-$120. New through Ford they're over $250 for the set.

I'm picking up a set of 10 mile take-off '13/'14 Bilstein Damp-Tronic's.

I know I'll have to provide power to them via a custom pigtail harness. Not sure if 12v activates the 'Sport' setting or the 'casual' setting. I'll have to talk to Bilstein about something similar to what adorned the development cars.

The OEM '13/'14 cars integrate much more than a simple on/off switch. According to 5.0 Magazine...

...selecting the GT500's Sport shock setting does more than crank up the compression and rebound. It also changes the brake bias a little rearward to help turn-in, retunes the ABS, mutes the Advance Track stability control for less intervention, turns off nibble control in the EPAS electric steering assist, automatically selects the Sport steering setting...

I already have the FR500S ABS module (defaults TC to off at startup), don't have to worry about nibble control (hydraulic rack), and probably have more rear brake bias than the stock percentage via the 13" FTBR brakes I installed.

I may team these with an FRPP spring and MM C/C plate as well. Should be a fun project.

Oh wow. That is so ****ing naughty. One of the bits from the new cars I am most jealous of, can't wait to see your findings.

I'm very interested in what you come up with on the shocks and struts. That's something I've been eyeing for a while.

+1 subbin' again for Tob :) The electronics and how to put the button in "cleanly" like the '13/'14 are what stopped me...ok, finding a decent price would help...$500 each (x4)?? Looking forward to your findings.

Like a loud bang that turns you around to see, you've got me thinking in a direction I hadn't considered. Thanks for the much needed jolt Ron.
